Mzee Maurice Mabongah

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing away of our patriarch Mzee Maurice Mabongah, which occurred on 13/12/2020 at Eldoret Hospital after a long Illness.

Son of the late Elisha Wanjala (Omomusomi) and the late Elizabeth Nasipwoni (Omubulo).

Husband of the late Maya Mary Naliaka Mabongah (Omusaba) and Mayi Phostine Namalwa Mabongah (Omuemba).

Loving father of Fridah, Wafula, the late Bonface, Beatrice, Selina, Albert, Hon. Mwambu Mabongah (MP Bumula Constituency). Judith, Norah, Eunice, Eric, Martha, Mary, Pius, Joseph, Rodgers, Nancy, Ignatius, Ambrose, Elisha and Joshua.

Brother of the late Samuel, Siende, Walubengo, Nambafu, Nasambu, the late Patrick, Sitati, Aineas and Robert.

Cousin of Nathan, Prof Nasiuma, Eng. Wasilwa, Eng. Sitati, Pst. Namukowa, Weswa, Sitati, and Mukokeli, among others.

A father, grandfather and great grandfather to many.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary, on 24th December, for a night over at LifeCare Hospital mortuary from where it will be taken to Mwiyenga home on 25th December, 2020.

Burial will take place on 26th December, 2020 at Mwiyenga Village Bumula Sub County, Bungoma County.
