Appreciation

Following the death of our Patriarch, Mzee Naftal Nyamongo, we the Nyamongo family are humbled by the immense support that we received from relatives, friends and well-wishers. The messages of encouragement have continued to uplift us through this period.

We extend our gratitude to His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta for condoling with us. And, to Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i for his visits and prayers both during Mzee’s illness and in the ensuing period. Special thanks to H.E. Hon. Amos Nyaribo, Governor of Nyamira County together with his team. And, to PS Ministry of Health Susan Mochache, Solicitor General Ken Ogeto, Hon. Richard Tong’i (MP, Nyaribari Masaba), Hon. Ben Momanyi (MP, Borabu), Hon. MoffatTeya (Speaker Nyamira County Assembly) and Hon. Oming’o Magara.

We are grateful to Pastor Collince Oyamo, Pastor Alex Ambuchi, the elders and members of Karen Community SDA Church as well as the Karengata SDA Church and New Life SDA Church, in Nairobi, and Matongo SDA Church, Borabu, Nyamira and members of the funeral organizing committee.

We recognize the support from the Kenya Community in the USA and UK, the doctors who attended to Mzee at the Nairobi West Hospital, The Aga Khan University Teaching Hospital and the Karen Hospital as well as the team at Umash Funeral Home. Our colleagues from our places of work stood with us throughout this period. Thank you.

Since it is not possible for us to thank each one individually, we humbly request that all those who condoled with us, prayed with us, and played a part in whatever manner, please accept this message as an expression of our deepest gratitude and appreciation.
