Mzee Ole Johnstone Aunyasi,

With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing on of Mzee Ole Johnstone Aunyasi, which occurred on Thursday, 05/01/2023, after long illness. He was a long serving employee of World Scout -Africa Bureau Office Nairobi. He was also a renown banker, and an active member of the Catholic Church – Bungoma Parish.

He was husband to the late Mama Marciana Adionyi who passed on the same day last year.

Son to the late Mzee Stephen Ong’ura Ole and Mama Catherine Namkula. Brother to Norah Akisa, Milcah Amuruon, Susan Amojong’, Martin Okapesi, the late Walter Ole. Peter Papa, Richard Etyang’, and David Eseme.

Father to Samson Ong’ura, Emmanuel Eseme (Chux), Patience Aseri, Martin Ekaliani, Ambrose Ebale, Zakary Okeya, and Rose Akirapa. Foster father to Perpetua Arapu.

Grandfather to Austin Aunyasi, Edelquin Adionyi, Eddah Amusugut, Ezekiel Johnstone Aunyasi Ekaliani (Sean), Angela Eseme, Leon Johnstone, Joseph Baraka, Amy Adionyi, Faraja Wamola, Mercellus Aunyasi, Marciana Adionyi (Tataa), Brie! Aumosiaa, Jason Imoile, Jude Aunyasi, Jesse Alakara and Johan Erereng’ (Jojo).

The cortege leaves LifeCare Funeral Home on Thursday 12/01/2023, for requiem mass at 2.00pm at Christ the King Cathedral – Bungoma. Thereafter, his body shall be taken to his home in Kiwanja Ndege – Sinoko Village, Bungoma for burial on Friday 13/01/2023.

He fought the good fight and kept the faith.
