Mzee Phares Ndirangu Ngocoria (Mwalimu)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Phares Ndirangu Ngocorai (Mwalimu). Born in Kihora Sub-Location in 1918 and promoted to Glory on Thursday, 17th November  2017 following a short illness.

Son of the late Ngocorai Ndirangu and the late Wanjiru Ngocorai of Nyeri. Husband of Martha Njoki Ndirangu. Brother of the late Beth Wangari Mundia and Susan Wamuyu Thuku of Olkalau. Father of Mary W. Ndirangu (formely MCN Nakuru), Jecinta G. Ndirangu (formely PGH Nakuru), Agatha Wangari Gichuhi (Wamagana), Lucy Wanjiku Karanja (Fair Field Resort Nakuru), Joseph M. Ndirangu (Jogla, Businessman Nakuru), Esther W Maina (Nyahururu District Hospital), Paul W Ndirangu (Businessman Mombasa), Dancun G. Ndirangu (Nawasco – Nanyuki), The late Ann Wangechi Muriuki, and Sarah Nduta Kamande (wa Glady) of Kimorori Pri. School -Kenol. Father-in-law of Gichuhi (Wamagana), Kariuki (Fair Field Resort Nakuru), Gladys Mwangi (KPC Nakuru), the late Maina,Wangechi (Nyeri), Mbera (Phathi Nyandarwa), the late Mugure, Wairimu , Kamande (Kenol) and Muriuki (Kiamarigu Sec. Nyeri). Grandfather and Great Grandfather of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Nyeri and at Kokeb Hotel, Nakuru from 5.00 pm. The cortege leaves Outspan Funeral Home on Friday 24th November 2017 at 8.00 am for a Church Service at Gachatha, AIPCA (Next to Gachatha high school) at 10.00 am. Burial will be at his farm in Gihunguri, mba-aini Village, Karundu Sub-location,Tetu division, Nyeri County.
