It is with sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Mzee Pius Ogonji Mbok also known as Omari Wuod Agola (Daktari) which occurred on 29th November, 2020.

Son of the late Joanes Mbok Hawuondi and the late Oongo Nyabuong. Son-in-law of the late Lawi Okweso and the late Conslata Ombija. Loving husband of the late Elizabeth Akinyi. Adoring father of Mark, Richard, the late Awino, Vincent, the late Anna, Jacinta, Joannes, Veronika, the late Turfena and Benta. Grandfather of Ernie, Robbinson, Flevian, Ronny, Edwine, Ochieng, Wera, Reagan, Ray, Lui. Brother of the late Awana and Orwa. Step-Brother of the late Vincent, Joseph. Cousin of Vincent, Raphael, the late Were and the late Dismas. Father-in-law of Gladys, Rose, Emily, and Mary.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home, Mbuye Village from 6.00pm for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Owen Funeral Home, Bondo, on Thursday 10th December, 2020 at 12.000pm, followed by a requiem mass at St. Margaret Serawongo Sub-Parish from 2.00pm.

Funeral service and burial will be held on Friday, 11th December, 2020 at his home, Mbuye Nyangoma Sub-location, Central Sakwa Location, Bondo, Siaya County, starting at 10.00am.
