Nancy Muguru Kimani-Mwai

Nancy, a Light that shall never dim, a warmth that will never cool.

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Nancy Muguru Kimani-Mwai of JKUAT, which occurred on Wednesday, February 7th 2024.

Wife of Peter Mwai Muturi, (formerly of UoN) and mother of Reuben Muturi.

Daughter of the late Jethro Kimani and the late Gladys Wairimu of Kiamara, Kangema, Murang’a County. Sister of Irene Kung’u, the late Lydiah Wanjiru, and the late Pithon Mwangi.

She was daughter-in-law of Reuben Muturi Mwai and Joyce Wangui of Nyaga, Kihumbuini location, Gatanga, Muranga County.

She was an aunt of the Kung’u’s, Wanjiru’s, Mwangi’s and many more.

Cousin to the Kamau’s and Muguru’s.

Sister-in-law of Grace Mugure Githinji (Njabini), Rose Njeri Wachira (Mathenge TTI), Elizabeth Wanjiku and Peris Muthoni.

A Requiem Mass shall be held at JKUAT Assembly Hall in Juja Campus on Wednesday, February 14th, 2024, at 11.00 am.

The cortege will leave KU Referral Funeral Home (Northern Bypass), on Thursday, February 15th, 2024 at 8.00 am for a funeral service at Nyaga Secondary School grounds in Kihumbuini, Gatanga, Murang’a County, followed by interment at their home in Nyaga Village, Kihumbuini.
