Nancy Wambui Wanyoike (Nyina wa Mugo)

It’s with great humility and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely demise of Nancy Wambui Wanyoike (nyina wa Mugo) on 27th July 2018.

Daughter of the late Genson Mugo Kamitha and the late Oliver Njeri Mugo of Kihoya, Kangema, Muranga County. Daughter in love of the late Jeremiah Waithunguri Mutonga and the late Mary Wanjiku Waithunguri of Igamba, Gatundu North. Beloved wife of Benedict Wanyoike Waithunguri. Mother of Paul Wanyoike, Edwin Wanyoike, Sr Mary Wanyoike, Richard Wanyoike, Ann Wanyoike and Eunice Wanyoike. Mother in-love of Mary Wanjiku, Rose Wanjiru, Caroline Gathoni. Simon Ndichu and Fredrick Ngugi. Grandmother of Ben, Lawrence, Francis, Olivia, Abigail, Nancy, Miguel and Arnold. Sister of Solomon Kamitha, the late Grace Kihika, the late Joseph Wanjie, Dr Joseph Mugo, Samuel Mwangi, Rose Mugwe, Paul Kabutu, Mishak Ithara, Jane Wairimu, Rowland Kamitha, Susan Wanjiku an Lilian Wangari.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers at her-home in Igamba, Holy Family Basilica and at The Other Place Restaurant Umoja.

The cortege leaves General Kago Mortuary on Thursday 2nd August 2018 for the funeral service at St Joseph Catholic Church Igamba followed by burial at her home.

Rest in peace Mama Mugo in the bliss of Heaven till we meet again. Amen
