Nathan Makokha Nakittare
It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our beloved Nathan Makokha Nakittare, Duty Manager, Total Touch Cargo Ltd and seconded to Kenya Airfreight Handling Ltd (TFFF).
Son of the late Mama Robai and Mzee Nakitare Murumba of Silungai village, Ndivisi, Bungoma. He leaves behind his beloved wife Mary Nanjekho Makokha (former teacher of Alliance Girls High School & St Hannah’s School) and his children: Brian & Rachel Murumba, Carl & Brenda Wambasi and Wayne & Anne Nakitare. Doting grandfather of Madeline Nanjekho, Nathan Gitahi and Enzo Nakitare. Brother of Ngobilo, Khakasa, Kiveu, Wavomba, Namisiko, Sitati, Murumba, Benjamin, Isaac, Wambaya, Khatete, Lwile, Nasimiyu, Veronica, Atai, Khayanga and Njebwe Nakitare among others.
Cousin of the Chetekeyis, Sunguris, Kimokotis, Karanis, Musebes, Chinungos, Wangilas, Wanakachas, Musuyas, Lumangatis, Matandas, Kiveus, Wambasis, Sifumas and the larger Namisi family. Son-in-law of the late Mama Rebecca and Mzee Lazarus Khaemba of Kiminini Scheme. Brother-in-law of Ann, the late Judith, Edith, Margaret, Flora, Stephen, John, Emily, Evelyne, David, Hellen and the late Philip. Basakwa of Rev. Joel and Magdalene Gitahi, Salus and Augusta Fernandes, Mr. and Mrs. Davidson Kimani Waheire and Mrs. Elizabeth Maindi.
Family and friends are meeting at his house in Kona Baridi/ Kiserian township.
Fundraising to offset funeral expenses will be held on Tuesday 29/05/2018 at CITAM Valley Road at 5.00pm.
Requiem service will be held on Thursday 31/05/2018 at St. Andrews PCEA Church at 9.00am.
Burial shall take place on Saturday 2/06/2018, at his home in Silungai Village, Ndivisi Division, Webuye Sub-location, Bungoma County.

Death can never take a good man away, for, in the hearts of the people he inspired, the legacy remains and continuous throughout generations. He was a great teacher/mentor and father to many and may his soul find eternal rest.
