Nathan Osore Sakwa

1937-2019

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of our dear Nathan Osore Sakwa at Aga Khan Kisumu on 8th September, 2019.

Son of the late Mzee Wellington Sakwa Okumbi and the late Mama Appelesi Omukonyi, the late Mama Edita Ochieng’i, and Mama Selina Omito. Husband of the late Nerea Ngesa Osore and Rose Nyasicho. Brother of Leonida Asiko, Peter Andayi and Diana Seka. Step brother of Gladys Kandira, Julius Ashkoye Sakwa, Sela Seka, the late Silas Sakwa, Beatrice Asiko, Richard Okutoto, Daudi Indakwa, Rael Ameso, Roselyn Aloo and Musa Yatunyi. Father of Justice Boaz Olao and Patricia, Betty and Kadenge, Dr Melckzedeck Osore and Judith, the late Kennedy Shisia (UK) and Angeline Namiba (UK). Grandfather of Amanda, Barbara, Allan, Nathan, Almasi, Gloria, the late Cedrick, Safari, Quincy, Jermaine, Diana, Esther and Malika. Great grandfather of many.

Relatives and Friends are meeting daily at his home in Namasoli, Khwisero.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Kisumu on Thursday, 19th September, 2019 for a Church Service at ACK Namasoli Parish at 12 noon.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, 21st September, 2019 from 9am at the Namasoli Primary School, followed thereafter with the burial at his Namasoli home
