Natharina Wangari (Murega) Kahugia

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of our beloved mother Natharina Wangari (Murega) Kahugia on the 20th February 2019 at St. Francis Community Hospital Kasarani.

Daughter of Paul Kimani and Mary Wanjiku. Wife of the late Erastus Kahugia. Mother of John Maingi (Gloria Hotel), James Kimani, the late Raphael Thuku, Ann Wanjiku, Patrick Waweru (Atlantic Suppliers), Peter Mwangi, Mary Kagira and Josphat Kabiru (The Aga-Khan University Hospital).

Sister of Sabina Wangari, Cecilia Wambui, Margaret Waitherero, Zaweria Waruguru and Teresia Mugoiri. Step sister of Joseph Waweru, Macharia and Benson Thuo. She was grandmother and an Aunt of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Eureka, Highrise Hotel and at her rural Home at Matara Village, Kiawambogo from 6:00pm.

The cortege leaves St. Francis Hospital Kasarani on Saturday 2nd March 2019 at 7:00am for the funeral service at St. Agnes Kanguru Catholic Church followed by burial at her home at Matara Village, Kiawambogo, Murang’a County.
