Ndugu James Wamahiu Gateru

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing away of Ndugu James Wamahiu Gateru of St. Paul’s ACK Kidiwa, Eldoret.

Son of the late Melkizedek Gateru and the late Janet Wangeci. Loving husband of Dada Margaret Wamahiu. Brother of Godfrey Ngure, Wilfred Mwangi, Nahashon Ngure, Joyce Wanjiru, Joram Irungu and Jane Gathoni. Father of Mary Mwathi, John Mwangi, Rev. Samuel Githinji, the late Chege, Janet Wanjama, Sarah Ngachu, Andrew Ngugi, Godfrey Ngure and Virginia Kihara. Father-in-law of Geofrey Mwathi, Elizabeth Mwangi, Rev. Joyce Githinji, Rev. James Wanjama, John Ngachu, Scholastica Ngure and Samuel Kihara Muthiora. Grandfather, uncle, great grandfather and friend of many.

The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 15th January 2019 at 9.00arn.

Funeral service will be at ACK St. Paul’s Kidiwa, Eldoret and burial at Kiplombe Cemetery in Eldoret
