Nelius Wanjeri wa Kamau (Nyina Wamugo)

It’s with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce demise of Nelius Wanjeri Kamau (Nyina Wamugo), which occurred on 3rd January, 2023 after a short illness.

Daughter to the late Mwangi wa Kabiru and the late Phyllis Wanjiku.

Wife to the late Kamau wa Kago. Co-wife to Nelius Njeri Kamau. Loving mother to Bernadette Wambui,Virginia Nyambura, Esther Wangari, Mary Nyambura Joseph Mugo, Oscar Kimani, Kenneth Macharia and James Mwangi.

Mother-in-Love to Musikiti Kusimba, Harrison Ng’ang’a, Margaret Nyambura, Tabitha Wanjiru, Peris Wambui and Mary Waithira. She was an auntie, grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting at Accra Hotel – Nairobi and at her home in Gitugu, daily for prayers and funeral preparations, from 6.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kangema Funeral Home on Friday 13th January, 2023 at 8.00am. Funeral service will be held at Gitugu Catholic Church – Kanyenyain Kangema, Murang’a from 10.00am.
