it is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Dennis Ndachi Gitau Nyoike of Kinangop Murungaru and Sultan Hamud. He was a TSC teacher teaching at Illasit Junior Secondary School Loitoktok .

He was the son of John Nyoike (Tarda) and Magret Ngendo Ndachi of Sultan Hamud. He was brother of Martin Nyoike Merlin Resort (Naivasha), Ian Kimani Nyoike of Calcite building solution limited (Westland), Simon Nyoike of KIST and Esther Wangui of Oasis Secondary.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Murungaru home, Sultan Hamud Resort and Illasit J.S.S Loitoktok.

The cortege leaves Jamani Funaral Home (Naivasha) on Friday /May, 2024 the mass and funeral will be held at their home in Murunguru Kinangop.

The family of Agnes Waithera Mungai — who was buried on Tuesday 7th May, 2023 at Podo Guest Farm, Njoro in Nakuru County — wish | to convey their heartfelt gratitude to various persons, well-wishers and mourners for the immeasurable support they gave us in our bereavement. Cumulatively, all the moral and material support we
received helped to make the financial and emotional burden easier to bear and making it possible to accord a memorable and dignified send off to our Family Matriarch,

Without trivializing any of the support we received we wish to appreciate and acknowledge in a special way the following persons and groups:-

* The Organising Committee led by our co-Chairmen Prof. Kinuthia Gathumbi, Geoffrey Kinoti, Advocate and Co-ordinator Barsilio Njoroge for their stewardship in terms of ideas, logistical work and financial mobilization. Thanks to the Masters of Ceremony Ken Njiru and MC Wamuting’oe for guiding the Funeral ceremony and making
it lively.

* The general legal fraternity and members of the Gema Watho Association and Mt. Kenya Jurists led by its indomitable Chairman Ndegwa Njiru and Members of the UoN LLB Class of 1996 for theirsolidarity and contributions.

* The Medical personnel who took care of our Family Matriarch for a period of over one year led by Dr. Simon Mwangi who continued with his weekly medical visits even at the height of the tribulations he was subjected during the unlawful takeover of Nakuru’s Wat Memorial Hospital.

* The ACK Bishop of Nairobi Diocese, Rt. Rev. Joel Waweru for  participating in the Funeral ceremony through his representatives, the very Reverend Canon Paul Kariuki (Vicar General) and Venerable Canon Geoffrey Okapisi (the Diocesan Administrative Secretary). Canon John Maina of ACK St. Paul Church in South C Nairobi and Pastor Harun Ongwesso of Seventh Day Adventist Church at Machini Church, Lanet Division, Nakuru County and Rev. John Wilson Okeyo for ably leading the Funeral Service. We thank the choirs and praise and worship teams too. Thanks to Dr. Timothy Njoya for his long friendship with our family and for his profound and memorable message during the funeral service.

* The National and Local political leaders who came to celebrate with us the life and legacy of our Matriarch who was a politically Conscious and patriotic citizen of Kenya. The leaders included Hon. Martha Karua, the Deputy Leader of Azimio Coalition, Hon. Jeremiah Kioni, the Secretary General of Jubilee Party of Kenya, Hon. James Nyoro, 3rd Governor of Kiambu County, Ndaragwa MP Hon. George Gachagua who is a long term friend of our family and Hon. Njenga Mungai, the veteran political leader in Nakuru.

* The friends of Kongoni’s Steakhouse, the Central Legends, Members of Jiwekee Family Group, ex-staff of Lloyd Masika Ltd, ex-NYS Welfare Group and the staff of Kinoti and Kibe Co, Advocates for their friendship, love, presence and contributions.

She was Wife of Ambassador Justus Amega Mudavadi, and mother of Reba Imali Mudavadi, Caroline Namusia Mudavadi, Joel Asuza Mudavadi, the late Robert Mudavadi and Wendy Aganwa Katila Ogunrinade. She was Grandmother of Wadi Itiru, Lumi Ogunrinade, Amani Mudavadi, Hedaya Ogunrinade, Logan Macharia, Jabari Mudavadi; and Mother-in-law of Tola Ogunrinade and Heather Linnaus.

She was sister-in-law of the late Hon. Moses Budamba Mudavadi, the late Jones Aliviza, the late Japheth ljera, the late Grace Engesa, the late Silas Mudavadi, the late Mama Hannah Mudavadi, the late Mama Rosebella Mudavadi, Mama Fenike ljera, the late Mama Esnas Mudavadi, the late Mama Esther Mudavadi, the late Zipporah Wekhui, Norah Wekhui, Beatrice Wekhui, the late John Musundi, the late Joseph Muliro, the late Neddy Wasilwa, Alice Wekhui, Mary Wafula, the late Job Bwayo and Paul Kuto.

She was an Aunt of H.E. Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, Jeanne, Ebby, Catherine, Geoffrey, Reba, Zena, Mary, Gladys, Edward, Alfred, Peter, Matanda, Anna, Joel, Donna, Christine McCulloch, Muyoka Kuto Oliver, and many others.

She was sister of John Wekhui, the late Pastor Norah Musundi, the late Lena Muliro, the late Timona Wasilwa, the late Javan Wekhui, Amos Wekhui, the late George Wafula, Elizabeth Bwayo and Grace Kuto, :

Prayer and funeral arrangements are taking place at her residence in Kilimani, Ndemi road, Nairobi and her rural home in Shiveye village daily.

There will be a church service at Friends International Center(FIC), Ngong Road on Thursday 16th May 2024, starting at 10.00am.

The burial will take place on Saturday 18th May 2024 starting from 9.00 am at her home, Shiveye village, Ikolomani, Kakamega County.

Death has occurred to Elder Kennedy Adams Asino of Nairobi Central S.D.A Church.

Son of the late Mzee Nelson Asino Origa and the late mama Joyce Asino of lambwe Valley. Brother of the late Yuda Asino, the late Peter Asino, the late Wilson Asino and Bacon Asino. His other brothers were Allan Asino, James Asino, Kenyatta Asino, Masawa Asino, Bernard Asino and George Kiche Asino. His sisters were, the late Auma Adoyo, the late Abigael Otieno, the late Carren Were Muoyo, the late Agnes Adeny Oguta, Grace Dache and others.

Uncle of Jacob Sagoro, Dan Origa, David Origa, George Origa amongst others.

Elder was a close friend and a mentor to Pamela and Bruce.

There will be a funeral service on the 16th May 2024, at Nairobi Central S.D.A Church from 10.00a.m, there after the body will be taken to Lang’ata Cemetery for burial.

Burial will be on Saturday 18th May 2024 at his home Visiru Village-Vihiga County.

He was the son of Henry Kimani Thairu and Mary Nieri Kimani of Lenginet, Nakuru and Kiamwangi, Gatundu.

He was the brother of Rose Kimani-Anderson (Canada), the late Beatrice Kimathi, Catherine Kimani Munyikewa (USA), Phyllis Nyokabi Gitonga (Canada) and Syivia Muthoni Kimani (USA).

Doting grandfather of Eliana Wanjiku Waweru (Canada), Liam Gachomo and Thomas Thairu.

Son in-law of Alice Nyokabi Waweru & Family. He was a beloved uncle, cousin and dear friend of many.

Prayer meetings are being held at his Calgary, Alberta home in Canada. Church Service will be held on 17th May 2024 at the Beddington Pentecostal Church followed by the funeral ceremony a Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

He was also an admired mentor and friend of many.

Memorial mass and burial be on Friday 17th May 2024 at his home in Mugumo-ini village, Mwenje sub location, Kinamba location, Laikipia County.
