A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Njambi, early on Saturday May 22nd, 2021 after an illness bravely borne. Njambi was formerly the Head of Industrial Training at Utalii Hotel, Managing Director – Impact by Design, General Manager – Elysian Resort and Trustee – Children’s Village Trust.

Daughter of the late John Kiritu Ng’ang’a and Emily Waithira Kiritu of Kanyoni Village, Gatundu North. Loving mother of Wanjiru Kiritu Mwangi and Allan Mwangi Muigai (The Luke Hotel, Roasters Inn). Sister of Stephen Ng’ang’a Kiritu, Esther Ng’ang’a, Gachuki Kiritu, Miriam Gachuki, David Kariuki Kiritu, Terry Kariuki, Rosemary Njeri Kiragu, Kiragu Mugwe, Wambui Karimi and Karimi Igeria.

In-law to Lillian Wangari Muigai. Adoring Auntie of Waithira Komu, Mugwe Kiragu, Anthony Kariuki, Nyaguthii Kigotho, Kiritu Kiragu, Warui Kariuki, Waithira Gachuki, Njeri Gachuki, Wamucie Karimi, Kiritu Gachuki, Ng’ang’a Kariuki and Mburu Karimi. Niece of Mary Wambui Mungai, Esther Wanjiku Ng’ang’a, Bernice Wangari Mwangi, Peter and Jennifer Karing’u, among others.

Family and friends will be meeting daily from Monday 24th to Wednesday 26th May, 2021, at The Luke Hotel / Roasters Inn (Garden Estate), from 4.00pm.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral home at 8.00am on Thursday May, 27th 2021, for burial at the family farm in Kanyoni Village, Gatundu North. AlI Covid19 protocols will be observed and the funeral will be streamed “live”.

    I’m so touched by the sad news, my heartfelt condolences. I knew the late Njambi through her company – Impact by Design and worked together on several occassions. Mama, lala salama.

    And my prayers to Shiru and Allan. May almighty God give you strength to overcome your mom’s loss.

    So shocked by this – She taught me about Award Ceremonies many years ago when she made me her stage manager for Msafiri Awards for kenya airways and paid me well.

    I only recently of your passing. My memories of your friendship and love of life as a Sister and gracious friend goes way back since the ’70s. You lived your life gallantly with honor and dignity. Sleep well in eternity until we meet again. May your family and we your friends cherish your Memory forever more. Amen!
