Daughter of Stanley Kinyua and Lydiah Muthoni Sister of Patriciah Wairimu, Benson Karimi. the late Franciscah Wanjiku. and jemimah Wambui.

Mother of Dwyane Kinyua.

She was an aunt of Norah, Bridgit, Nolan and Briannah. Cousin, niece and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Kabumbu, Kerugoya Kirinyaga from 4:00 pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Mary immaculate Kerugoya Catholic Funeral Home Kerugoya on 30th September 2025 at 8:00 am and funeral service at their home in Kabumbu from 10:00 am. She will later be laid to rest at the same place.

She was the daughter of the late Augustine Sawo Otako and the late Maniga Sawo of Karachuonyo, Homa Bay County.

Loving wife of the late, Boniface Obong’o Oure of Kochia-Homa Bay County and a co-wife of the late Magdalene Obong’o and the late Jane Obong’o.

Devoted mother of Francis Obong’o, Teresa Mboya (Late), Adero (Late), John Oure (Late), Jared Obong’o, Grace Akinyi, Peter (Late), David (Late),Angelina,Agnes (Late),Tobias Obong’o, Salome (Late), Onyango, Everlyn, Eric, Ken and Isaac.

She was in-law of Nyadera Ogindo(Late), Osoti Ogoma (Late), Oruko Genga (Late), Andronico Kasera. (Late), Richard Malit (Late), and Mboya Osoti (Late) among others.

Her siblings were Amoko, Rusalia, Consolata, Hadija Saat (Late), Omollo Orengo (Late), Omollo Sula, Osoo, Ogol (Late), Lusi (Late), Arwa (Late) and Obuya (Late). Mother-in-law of Phoebe Obong’o, Pamela Oure, Rachel Obong’o, Ludia Obong’o, Everlyne Obong’o, Doreen Obong’o; Melda Obong`o among other.

Auntie of Peter Omollo, Mary Rachier, Jemimah Adhiambo, and Nicholas Osoo among others.

Grandmother of 34 grandchildren, Odhiambo, Godwin, Boniface, Wycliffe, Polycarp, Jessica, Chris, Yvonne, Lavender, Llyod (Late), Sheila, Tina, Levine, Donna, Sheryl, Vivian (Late), Shalom, Yvonne, Israel, Owen,Angel and Leon among others. Great grandmother of 31 children.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Funeral Home, Nairobi on the 28th of September 2025 for Boniface Obongo’o Oure’s home in Kochia-Homa Bay County for interment on 29th of September 2025.

It is with great sorrow and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr Nicholas Kiminda Kamau, which occurred on 22nd September 2025.

He was the beloved husband of the late Joyce Nyokabi Kiminda, and son of the late Karingu Ngoru and the late Margaret Wandia.

A loving father of Damaris Wanjiku, Elizabeth Wandia, Ann Muthoni, and Doris Njeri. Cherished father-in-law of Samuel Migwi, Antony Muhungi, and Antony Gitonga.

He was a caring brother of the late Muthoni, the late Wambui, the late Njeri, the late Ngoru, Wanjiku Mugo, and Njogo.

He was a doting grandfather of Roy, Sue, Bethany, Ngugi, Kui, Murimi, Nimmo, Mumbi, and Kiminda, and a pillar of love and support to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence in Ichaweri, Ithingu Village, for funeral arrangements.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, 27th September 2025, at his home starting at 4:00 PM.

The cortege will leave KUTRRH (Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital) on Tuesday, 30th September 2025, for the funeral service and burial at his -home in Ichaweri, Ithingu Village.

 

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Amos Otieno Ahenda, which occurred on Friday, 19th September 2025.
Amos was born on 31st October 1975 and hailed from Umala Village, East Alego, Siaya County.

He was the beloved husband of Margaret Wanjiru Nguhi, devoted father of Liron Constantine Otieno, and cherished son of the late Walter Ahenda Otiato and Prisca Ahenda.

He was also a son-in-law of Mama Peninah Nguhi.

Amos was a brother of Ben Ahenda, Erick Ahenda, Chris Ahenda, Joshua Ahenda, the late Samuel Ahenda, and the late Rose Ahenda.

He was an uncle of Bevies, Jill, Mike, Griffins, the late Achieng’ Onyango, and Eng. Isaiah Ahenda, and a brother-in-law of Stephen Chege, Ann Nduta, Rebecca Njeri, Elizabeth Wairirnu, Milcah Mumbi, Daniel Kamuri, Ruth Onyango and MarystellaAwinja.

He was a nephew of Levis Ahenda.

A cousin of Edwin, Aggrey, Francis, Jim, among others, and a friend to all who knew him.

A requiem service in honor of Amos will be held on Saturday, 27th September 2025, at 11:00 aim at the Montezuma Funeral Home Chapel, Mbagathi Way, Nairobi.

The cortege will depart from Montezuma on Sunday, 28th September 2025, at 8:00 a.m. for his rural home in Umala Village, Siaya County. The burial service will take place there on Monday, 29th September 2025
