It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our family Matriarch Omongina Birita Kemunto Keengwe, of Mwamosioma, Getare Village Kisii County.

Wife of the late Mzee Benjamin Keengwe. Mother of Sam Nyamweya (former President of Football Kenya), Naomy (Kitale), Samwel, the late Nehemiah, the late Atandi, Clement, the late Jerusa, Nyaboke, Monica, Kerubo. Mother-in-law of Zipporah, Carren, Monyangi. Grandmother of Robert, Douglas (US), Edwin (US), Obadiah (US), Sharon, Alex, Philip, Sheila, Pam, Bavon, Lilian, Silas (Australia), Maureen, Erick, Benja, Judy, Nyaboke, Osoro, Lena, the late Dorothy, Charity, Bosibori and many more. Great-grandmother to many. Aunt to R Nyabuti, Omare, Mayor Nyangeso, Penuel, Jared, Christopher, Magwaro, iNyaboke.

Funeral arrangement are going on in Nairobi – Karen and at her home in Getare village – Mwamosioma.

The burial will take place on Friday 6th March, 2021 at her home in Getare village – Mwamosioma Kisii County.
