Otieno John Benson (J B)

We announce the promotion to glory of Otieno John Benson (JB).

He was husband of Yunia Agiso Otieno and father of Joy Otieno, the late Vicktorine Otieno and Laura.

He was son of the late Mzee John Paul Spem Omondi and the late Mama Diana Awiti Spem of Karariw village, Gem Sub-County. He was a step-son of Mama Joyce Owiti Spem and Mama Jane Auma Spem. He was brother of the late Wahong’o, Purity, the late Nyaundi, Susan, Omondi, the late Deborah, the late Akinyi, Ogoma, Ochieng, Owino, Juma, the late Soga, Monica, Ajaja, Rowina, Odul, Dorcas, Onduso, Leonard, Opiyo and Adongo.

His uncles include: the late Richard Ochieng, Waneno, Ogol, Wasao, Olalo, Caleb, the late jacktone Oyengo, Awimbo, Allan and Willis, among others.

His aunts are: Grace Marenya, Nereah Mboti, the late Monica, Grace Okeno, Mary Omollo and Jeniffer Osura among others.

The cortege will leave Star Mortuary (Ogango), Kisumu, on Friday,April 19, 2024 for a service at St Stephen’s ACK Church, Kisumu from 10:00 a.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday,April 20, 2024 at the Yala Township Primary School in Yala, Gem Sub-County.
