Palantina Odinga Oduori

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Palantina Odinga Oduori on the 28th May, 2019.

Daughter of the late Meltus Okinda and Veronica Ongu’nya Okinda of Madele Murende, Matayos Constitituency Busia County. Loving wife of the late Mzee David Onyango Opoti. Loving Mother of the late Beatrice Opoti, Alice Ogalle, Grace Muyesu, Haggai Opoti, Robert Opoti, Dina Ojanji and Samson Opoti. Sister of John Okinda, the late Felicitas Okima, the late Michael, the late Alloys, Mary, Judy and Praxides. Grandmother of 34 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Daughter-in-law to mzee Alfayo Opoti, Mama Eseresi Onyango and Mama Risper Okotchi. Co-wife to Petronilla, Rosalia, Margaret Wandera and Margaret Opoti.

The cortege leaves Sega Mission Hospital Mortuary on the 7th June, 2019 at 8.00am for a church service at ACK St Luke’s Church Busende and the burial thereafter at the family home in Nambere Village.
