Pamela Musimbi Avisa
It is with deep grief and sorrow that we announce the untimely death of Pamela Musimbi Avisa which occurred at Avenue Hospital, Parklands on Wednesday, 13th June 2018 after a short illness. She was a teacher at Nairobi International School.
Daughter of Herbert Avisa and the late Phoebe Kadenge Avisa. Fiance to Robert Osunda Ochieng (former Teacher at Braeburn School). Mother to Larry Avisa. Sister to the late Newton Avisa, Dickson Mutange Avis, Edward Avisa, Justus Lidambiza, Gladys Avisa, Ebby Lodenyi, Mary Mmbone (Police Headquarters). Niece to Daina Inyangala and Rael Vugutsa.
Friends and family are meeting at Tulips Restaurant, Kileleshwa daily at 6.00pm, where the fundraising will be held on Tuesday, 19th June 2018. All are welcome. The Mpesa donation number is 0721148323- Jackson Malala.
The cortege leaves Chiromo Funeral Parlour, Nairobi on Thursday 21st June, 2018, leading to a funeral service at Friends International Church (FIC), Ngong Road opposite Uchumi Hyper at 9.00am followed by travel to Mbale, Vihiga County, Bunandi Sub-location for an two night stay.
The burial will be held Saturday 23rd June 2018.

Paying my tribute to My Lovely Lady Pamela Musimbi Avisa , and above all a soldier in the army of Christ, you fought a good fight and for that, May The Lord forever Rest your soul in peace.
Special appreciation to all who took their time to be with me during the most difficult time in my life. My Mum ,My Father In-laws ,Larym Pam’s Son , all my brother’s and sisters, , all my brother’s and sister’s In-laws , all my very close cousins, all Pam’s cousin’s whom some are my good friends, all my goods friends, ,all Pam’s great and good friends and works mate’s .Men of God for your prays and for both families. I will forever be indebted to you, The Lord who sees in secret and rewards in the open will remember you all . Amen Stay Blessed
RIP my friend. Your departure was as painful as it was sudden. We pray for your soul, thar it may find peace and perfect rest amonh the Angels. Today 18th month of September marks your birthday in heaven above My Lovely Lady. I am sending my blessings on the wings of a dove, not only for today, but every day hereof, I think of you always, my lovely Lady Pamela Ruth Musimbi Avisa !
I want you to know that even though you’re no longer here, I think about you every single day. There are just so many lessons that you have taught me. I miss your smile, your laughter and your sense of humor. I guess, heaven is just so lucky to have an angel as funny as you, my love Ruth!
We may not be able to spend time with each other anymore, but I want you to know that you are always in my mind. I hope that this special day in heaven is truly incredible, because am sending you with lots of love and hugs, from here on earth my dear Pamela!
In heaven…I want to thank you for being a great friend and my love Avisa. I will truly treasure the wonderful memories we have shared. I miss you. “You are still a part of my live, even if only in spirit. It’s not easy to not have you here. Every night I will utter a prayer dedicated for you, in hopes to speak to you. Indeed, true friends are just so hard to find and I am saddened to not be able to see you on this birthday of yours Musimbi.
I will always treasure those happy memories we have shared together in this earth and I do know what am going through in this earth my dear Pam.

I send my sincere condolences almost a year after. Ms. Avisa was my son’s teacher at NIS and I just learned she is no more, a few minutes ago. My son early last year and we never got the sad news. May Gods’ grace be upon her loved ones, especially her son and her fiance. God has all the answers and he will grant his merciful eternal Grace to bear this with courage. Rest in Peace Ms. Pamela. You were a great person.
