Paskalia Ochanda Ondigo

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Paskalia Ochanda Ondigo, which occurred on 25th of December 2020 at the Eldoret Hospital after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Andrea Ondigo Ochanda, and the late mama Turdeya Narotso of Bwaliro Village, Lugulu Sub-Location.

A beloved wife of James Owino Wangukwa.

Loving mother of Lilian Owino – Business lady in Matayos; Michael Khasenye Owino (Kerry) – Malawi, Andrew Marcel Owino (Vicky) – UNICEF Kenya, Caleb Songa Owino (Pepe) – Atlanta USA, Desmond Wekesa Owino (Deejay) – Veterinary Officer Eldoret and Maria Collate Owino (Business lady Eldoret).

A loving mother-in-law of Christopher Wandera, Hillary Owino and Judith Koech. A loving grandmother of Sharon Anyango, Andrew Okuku, Abigael Sanyu, Faith Owino, Malaika Turdeya Owino, Samira Owino, Regan James Owino, Lamar Owino Kipchumba and Dylan Marcus Ogot Sister of Augastino Ogutu, the late Alloys Ondigo, Hendrica Giliana, Alexandria Atsieno, Felistus Mulomi, Resla Ondigo, Imelda Ondigo, Pius Asuka, the late Michael Asuka,Titus Ondigo, Stephen Kiriswa, and Priscilla Ondigo.

She was a cousin and an aunt to many, including Dr. Stephen Ondigo and many others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Beta Farm Estate in Eldoret, from 5.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

There shall be a fundraising on Wednesday, 6th January 2021, at the Wagon Wheel Hotel in Eldoret from 3,00pm to help raise funds for medical and funeral expenses.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital, on Thursday, 7th January, 2021 at 2.00pm for a requiem mass at St Barnaba’s Kimumu Parish, and thereafter at her home in Beta Farm Estate.

The funeral procession will then proceed to her rural home in Esikoma Village, Marachi Central Location, Butula Sub-county in Busia County for Burial on 9th, January 2021.
