Pastor Geoffrey Maina

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the promotion to glory of Pastor Geoffrey Maina which occurred after a short illness on Friday, 28th April, 2023. He was a pastor at Nairobi Lighthouse Church.

Loving husband to Sophia Wanjiku Njoroge and father to: Caroline Nyaruai, Donald Gikunju, May Wangari and Roy Njoroge.

Son of the late James Gikunju and Hannah Nyaruai, brother to Samuel Wamai, the late Moses Kinyua, Simon Gatere, Lydia Wanjira, David Theuri, Benjamin Ngari, Joyce Gathoni, Bernard Wanjau.

Son-in-law to the late Mwalimu Joseph Njoroge and Lucia Wangari Njoroge of Gaithece Village, lturu Location, Gatundu South, Kiambu County. Brother-in-law to Peter K. Njoroge (Petmas), George Ngigi, John Mburu, Kariuki, Pauline Mungai (Modern tent), Josphine Wanja Kihari.

Uncle to Jimmy Gikunju. Cousin to Joyce Muthoni and Joyce Muringo and uncle to Charles and Kaburi Wamai.

Family and friends are meeting at Roasters Inn (Thika road) Monday, 8th May,2023 and Tuesday, 9th May, 2023 from 6:00pm and Kanjuiri (Nyandarua) daily.

There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, 10th May, 2023 from 10:00am to 12:00 noon at Nairobi Lighthouse Church Garden estate Thika road.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital Morgue on Friday, 12th May, 2023 at 6:00am. Funeral service and burial to take place same day at Kanjuiri Village, Ol Kalou Sub- Location Nyandarua County.
