It is with sorrow that we announce the passing on of our beloved Pastor Godfrey Oyugi Ong’au of Bonyakoni village, Nyaribari chache, Kisii County; which occurred on 1st September 2017 at KNH.

Son of the late Christopher Ong’au and late Jerusha Binsari. Step son of Omongina Abigael and Florence Kerubo. Loving husband of Margret Osebe. Adoring dad of Scharttenkerk Oyugi (KNH) & Veronica,Timothy & Asenath (USA), Bathsheba (lsamwera Dispensary) & Elton, Desworth (TB & Leprosy, Manga) & Amos, Toppener & Catherine. Grandfather of Diana, Reuben, Levine, Kelsey, Medrin, Desworth, Adrian and Joash. Brother of the late Moses, the late Gisemba, Bilha, the late Bathsheba, Masongo, the late Makendo, Kemunto, Sophia, Mary, Teresa, Oyugi, Joyce, Jane, Isanda, Mwagi, Zablon, Monica, Moraa, Miriam, Abiud, Sagini and the late Ong’au. Uncle of Ken, Norah, Ong’aus, Orares, Misrehema, the late Lumumba, Dinah, Delphine, Peters’, Otundos among others. Brother-in-law of Reuben, the late Shem, Charles, the late K,pher, Cliff, Jennifer, Peninah, Dorcas, Martha,Truphena, Meyaki, Priscila,Teresa Masongo, Yunuke,Tabitha, Gesare, Mary, Mwendi, Alexinah and Rael. Korera of Celestine & Aprolimina Lewanga of Tanzania, the late Nackson and Peris Nyaberi, Priscilla Mokeira, the late Reuben Mitaki, Rev. Jackson Bosire & Joyce Bosire, the late Joachim Mangera & Caroline Kerubo.

Main fundraising will be held at Professional Centre Nairobi on Tuesday 12th September 2017 from 5 p.m. The cortege leaves KNH private mortuary on Thursday 14th September 2017 at 8:00am and burial will take place on the Friday 15th September 2017 at his home in Nyanturago village, Ibeno, Kisii County.
