It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved Patrick Karanja Macharia of Eastleign 187 Bar & Restaurant due to sudden illness on 1st August 2019.

Husband of the late Alice Waithira and Cathrine Muthoni. Son of the late Josphat Macharia and Julia Muthoni of Kirere, Kigumo Sub-County.

Father of Charles Maina (Nairobi), Late Jane, Mwangi (Nairobi), Njuguna, Ndung’u, Ngugi & Njeri of Kutus and Gachihi KU). Grandfather of many.

Brother of Wambui-Kirere, Ndung’u-Nairobi, Kimani-Kenol, and Elder Raphael Mwangi PCEA Makuyu.

Friends and relatives are meeting at Caanan Hotel Embu next to Panesic Hotel, Eastleigh 187 in Nairobi, and at his Nthambo Home, Embu Municipality, Embu County starting from 5.30pm daily.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral home on Friday 9th August 2019 at 8.00am for funeral service and burial at his Nthambo home in Embu Municipality.
