It is with heavy hearts and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing to glory of Patrick Sonny Muthusi Maingi, which occurred on Friday 4th September 2020. He was a farmer, and also a businessman in various countries including; Kenya, Zambia, Zaire (now Democratic Republic Congo), Botswana, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique and South Africa.

He was the son of the late Maingi Ngila and Naomi Nziva. Husband to Alice Ndungwa, who is now a Retired Teacher. Father to Dr. Nancy Mumbua (UK), Jacinta Wambui (Germany), Rosy Muili (Germany), Sylvia Nziva (DTB), Pilot Sylvester Maingi (OMIG), Anthea Itumbi (Nairobi), Engineer Sebastian Mwilu (Safaricom) and Diana Mukui (NBK). Grand father to Cleopatra, Oliver, Ray, Don, Hope, Elsie, Elsa, Alice and Liam. Father in-law to; Kai Uwe (Germany) Kioko Kitetu (NRB), Esther Maingi (KWPF), Dan Kyalo (NBK) and Gladys Mwilu (KPLC).

Brother to Mutio Musanga, Kavata Mwova, Kaluki, Nduleve, Paul, and the late; Kituli, Musili, Mwania, Muithya, Musau, and Kitinga. Son in-law to the late Leonard Mwilu &Tabitha Muili. Brother in-law to; Eng. Joseph & Margaret, the late Betsy & Prof. Leonard Masu (RSA), Rita & Christopher, Julius Nzyoka (Kwetu Sacco Chairman) & Fredinah, Joshua & Jackline, Hellen & Grant (UK), Jane (RSA), Cosmas Mwilu (Murang’a County) & Eunice. Uncle to; Muthui, Kimeu, Nyamai, Joel, Nicholas, Mutuku, Ngila and others.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Machakos on Saturday 19th September 2020 at 8.00am, for a funeral service and burial at his farm in Nyaani Sub-location, Wamunyu Location, Machakos County.

Meetings and Prayers are holding daily at his farm in Nyaani Sub-location, Wamunyu Location, Machakos County.
