Paul Barnet Mulobi

We are sad to announce the sudden death of Paul Barnet Mulobi in the USA on 21st June 2022 after a long illness bravely borne. A career Teacher, Mentor, Music minister and Church leader in Gilgil, he retired and relocated to Marietta — Georgia, USA.

Husband to Eunice Wanjiru Mulobi. Father to Jane Agidza Barnet, Edward Ihaji Barnet, Charles Ndegwa Barnet and Timothy Mulobi Barnet. Grandfather to Alvin and Chloe.

His parents were the late Jonathan Mulobi Ihaji and the late Deborah Luvaluli of Madioli village, Shinyalu Subcounty, Kakamega County. He was brother to the late Elkana Ihaji, the late Jerida Mugasia, the late Ebby Khalamwa, the late Laban Agala, Luka Mutsami, the late Phoebe Wilunda, Moses Baboli, Jared Mulobi, Andrew khatimba and Esther Migalitsi.

Brother-in-Law to Mwangi Ndegwa, Joseph Kamoni, Muthoni Ndegwa, Charity Gathigia and Joyce Wanjiku.

A fundraiser to assist in his repatriation and funeral expenses will be held at CITAM Valley Road on Friday 15th July 2022 from 5.3Opm.

A farewell service will be held today (Wednesday 20th July, 2022) at 2.00pm, at CITAM -Valley Road, Nairobi.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home on Thursday 21st July, 2022 at 6.00am for a memorial service at AIC Cathedral – Gilgil at 10.00am, and thereafter proceed to Madioli Village, Shinyalu Sub-county, Kakamega County, for final burial rites on Saturday 23rd July, 2022.
