It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Paul Francis Oruo which occurred on Friday 24th January, 2020 at his home in Migori County.
Son of the late Silvano Oholo and the late Mama Sulumena Oyondi of Alego, Kogelo, Siaya County. Husband of the late Millicent Alunda Okaro and Elizabeth Akello. Loving father of Ray, Jackie, Chris, Emily, Vera, Max, the late Beryl, Yvonne, Julie. Kevin and Phelgone. Grandfather of Keith, Kyle, Sean, Sarah, Zamora, Ayana, Nelson, Leona, Christian, Amani, Xavier, Diane, Tasha, Avidan, Earl, Erin and Evin.
Father in-law of Jacky, Allan, Bernard, Angie, Michael, Dorcas, and Ken. Brother of the late Salome, Brigitta, the late Anthony and Rudolph. Brother in-law of Consolate, Beatrice, Margaret and many others. Cousin of the Oholos, Anyangos, Ogoyes among others. Uncle of the Achiengs, Ogutus, Agolas, Oyuyos, Asyagos, Obamas, and many others.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Got Ombo in Uriri. Daily meetings being held in Nairobi at GPOT from 6:00pm.
The cortege will leave Rosewood Funeral Home in Rongo on 6th February,2020 for a requiem mass at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Uriri followed by an overnight vigil at his home. The burial will take place on 7th February 2020 at his home from 10.00am.
