Paul Mwangi Kigwaini

Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) regrets to announce the sad demise of Paul Mwangi Kigwaini, which occurred on the 1st March 2018 at the Nairobi Hospital. Until his demise, he was a Senior Aeronautical Information Services Officer, serving as an Instructor at the Authority’s East African School of Aviation (EASA).

Beloved husband of Alyse Njeri Kigwaini of Thiririka Primary School, Juja. Father of June Waithira Gathagu — Uganda, Sharon Wangari Mwangi — MKU Thika and Candyse Wanjiku Mwangi of St. Francis Girls School, Mangu. Father in love to Joseph Njuguna of Uganda. Son of the late Chief Kigwaini Kamanu and the late Teresia W. Kigwaini. Brother of Mary Wanjiku Njeru of Embu, the late John Mbaca Kigwaini and Peter Gakuya Kigwaini, Grandfather of Kisha Njeri Gathagu, Patrick Njuguna Gathagu and Paul Mwangi Gathagu.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his house in Kenyatta Road Estate Juja and in Nairobi Emmaaccra Hotel from 6.00 p.m. for funeral arrangements.

A funds drive will be held on Wednesday 7th March 2018 at his Kenyatta Road Estate Juja Residence to defray an outstanding hospital bill.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home, Thika Road on Friday 9th March 2018 at 8:00 a.m. for the funeral service and internment at Kabuta Village, Gaturi, Kiharu Sub-County, Murang’a County from 12 noon.
