Pauline Wairimu Mathenge

We accept God’s will and announce the passing on to of Pauline Wairimu Mathenge that occurred on Thursday 3rd May 2018. She was the Deputy Principal of lcaciri Secondary School-Gatundu and Deputy Principal Thangira Secondary School-Murang’a.

Daughter of the late Julius Munyin and the late Magdaline Wanjoru of Karatiria Nyen, Daughter-in-law of Joseph Ritho and the late Nyawira Ritho of Githakwa village. Wife of Amos Mathenge Ritho of Kamahuha Girls. Mother of Swift Joe Ritho, Consolata Nyawira (Kahuhia Girls) and Ian Munyiri (St. Georges Academy Ngoingwa).

Sister of Kimaru, Regina & Kinyua, the late Mathenge, Njoki, Gichingiri & Jecinta, Kariithi, Wanjohi, Kogi & Njeri and the late Zakary. Sister-in-law of Wairimu & James, Gitonga & Jane, Naomi, Mubea & Njeri, Muriithi & Wanjiku, Lucy & Njuguna, Wang’ombe & Wanjiru. Aunt of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home Ngoingwa Estate Thika behind St. Stephen ACK church, her rural home Githakwa Tetu Nyeri and at her parent’s home Ndumanu village Karatina for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 11th May 2018 at 7.00a.m for funeral and burial service at Ritho’s family in Githakwa village Tetu Nyeri starting at 10.00am.
