The family of the late Ezekiel Obegi and Mama Grace Kemunto regrets to announce the death of their son PC James Mokua Obegi of Pangani Police Station, Nairobi, which occurred on 31/08/2018.

Husband of Judith Ogake. Father of Fred Onguti Mokua and Gift Kemunto Mokua. Brother of Kennedy (Magonga Primary), Jeremiah (UK), Daniel (KPLC), Risper (Mote tribe Secondary), Dinah (Australia), Johnson (Kisii). Step-brother of Zablon Bundi (Ibacho), the late Gekonge, Pst. Maturi, Yunes (Nyangusu) Donald, Eucabeth (Subukia), George (Nrb), William and Teresia. Son-in-law of Matara Tito and Jane Matara. Brother-in-law of Evelyne, Callen (UK), Dorcas Gekonge, CMIleas Muyoki. Cousin of Moraa Ombati, James Ogongo, Odhiambo Onguti, Samwel Karimu and others. Nephew of Obwocha. Nyamari, Sabera, Keremensia and Monyangi. Uncle of Jared Nyamweya, Hilda, Dinah Gekonge and others.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at Garden Square, Nairobi from 5.30 pm.

Main fund-raising to offset hospital and funeral expenses will be held on Tuesday 11th September 2018 from 5.30 pm at Garden Square, Nairobi and at home Matutu Scheme.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home Nairobi on Thursday 13th September, 2018 for burial at his home at Rinyoni, Mekenene, Matutu Scheme on Friday 14th September 2018.

It is God who gave him to us and has allowed him to sleep until the resurrection.
