It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Mwaitu Penina Ndungali Makenzi which occurred on 22nd August 2020.
Daughter of the late Mwikya Mailu and the late Mutheu Mwikya. Wife of Ezekiel Makenzi of Mbitini in Makueni County. Mother of Rael Kamuya, the late James, Justus, David, Thomas Ronald,and Nathan. Sister of the Late Rev Makove, late Syukau, the late Mumbua, Esther and Muunda among others. Mother in-law of the late Lawrence Kamuya, Nelly Mutua, Sofia and Mavondo, Ruth, Dorcas, Rose and Norah, Ruth Musyoki. Grandmother of Martin, Mulei, Cosmas, Mbithe, Kamene, Katheu, Mukenyi, Ezekiel, Dan, Mueni, Mboi, Ndola, Muthini, Nzasi, Wambua, Mutheu, Morris, Ann, Sammy, Timothy, Steve, Mulwa, Erick, Makenzi, Carol, Purity, Kasungwa, Mwendwa, Diana, Patience. Doting great grandmother of 27 (twenty seven).
The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home in Machakos on the Saturday 29th August 2020 at 6:00am for requiem mass and burial at her home Kavuthu, Utiithi Village, Mbitini, Makueni County.
