Perister Waithira Karanja (Mrs. Mworia)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Perister Waithira Karanja (Mrs. Mworia) of Mahiga Primary school, which occurred on Friday, 25th August, 2017 after a long illness bravely borne.

She was daughter to the Late Mr. Edward and Mrs. Grace Karanja and beloved wife to the late Joshua Mworia Daughter-In-Law to the late Mr. Elijah and Mrs. Martha M’Ribui and co-wife to Grace Kanja. She is survived by seven children Francis Karanja, Charles Mwangi, Simon Macharia, Faith Njeri, Robert Mutuma, Winnie Cynthia and Susan Wairimu as well as Four step-children Charles Mburugu, Kiirinya, Mwongera and Makena and eleven grand-children. She was sister to Mwangi, Wambui, Kinyanjui, Wanjiru, Njoroge, Wanjiku, Njeri and Kuria. Mother in law to Emily, Sarah, Frasiah and Francis Mucheru.

The cortege will leave the K.U funeral home on Tuesday, 05th September 2017 for the funeral service and burial at her home in Nturukuma location of Nanyuki township.

Friends and relatives are meeting at her residence in Kahawa West, her Nanyuki home, Full Gospel Church Kahawa West and at Accra Hotel 3rd from 6.00pm daily for funeral arrangements.
