Peter Gachanja Njiraini

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Mr. Peter Gachanja Njiraini of Kenyatta University, Department of Applied Economics.

Son of the late Jackson Njiraini Gachanja and Tabitha Njoki Njiraini. Beloved husband of Dorcas Njeri Gachanja (Ministry of Education, Muranga County). Father of Patricia Njoki of Graceland Senior School and Irene Wangui of Moi Primary School. Brother of Rose Wanjiru, Anne Wairimu, Charles Ikenye, Lt. Col. Bernard Njiinu, Andrew Ndungu, John Kuria and Grace Waithira. Son-in-law of Joyce Njoroge. Brother-in-law of Priscilla VVanjiku Liz Wangari and Benjamin Nyamasio.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at Gachanja’s residence in Thika Landless Estate, Blue Springs Hotel Thika Road and at Karatu home. All meetings start at 5.30pm.

The Cortege leaves Kenyatta University funeral home on Tuesday 12th March, 2019 at 800am followed by a funeral service at PCEA Ndarugu church and burial at their rural home in Karatu, Gatundu South starting at 10.00am.
