Peter Gachumi Karanja

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we sadly announce the death of Peter Gachumi Karanja on Saturday the 27th of October 2018 after a long illness.

He was husband to Florence Wambui Karanja. Son of the late Solomon Karanja Gakungu, the late Agnes Wangui Karanja and step son to Grace Wanjeri Ngechu. Brother to Margaret Wanjeri Kioni, Nancy Muthoni Githaiga, Julius Gathara Karanja and Samuel Mboche Karanja.

Step brother to late Peter Gakungu, Leah Wambui Gikore, Rachel Wanjiru Waweru, Mercy Wangui Kariuki, Mary Wangare, Rachel Nyambura Mathu, late Stephen Kanywira. Father of Robert Karanja, Antony Muchene Karanja (Tony B), Angela Wangui Karanja and Lorraine Wanjiku Karanja Grandfather to Kwame, Joshua, Jasmine, Justin and Samuel.

We shall meet on Tuesday October 30th and Wednesday October 31st at All Saints Cathedral in the St. Mary’s meeting room at the Trinity Centre, from 6pm to 8pm on both days.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday November 2nd 2018 at St Marks ACK Church Westlands off Waiyaki Way at 10am and burial thereafter at the Karanja Serene Farm in Kiserian off Pipeline Road.
