It is with great sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Peter Gathigi Njuguna (former teacher of Mahindu Primary School) which occurred on 13th May 2020.

Son of the late Njuguna Githakwa (Thubiu) and late Kabura Njuguna. Son in-law of late Josphat Gachukia and late Njambi Gachukia.

Loving husband of Hannah Wambui Gathigi. Brother of late Kibe Njuguna, Kiarie Njuguna, late Muiruri Njuguna, Irene Wambui, late Mwangi Njuguna and late Gichamu Njuguna. Brother-in-law of late Mburu Gachukia, Wanjiku Nganga, Bilha Wangare, Maina Gachukia, Wataari Gachukia, Njeri Gachukia, and late Wangari Gachukia.

Father of David Njuguna, Susan Githinji, Zipporah Mwangi, Tabitha Munya, Helen Njuguna, Mercy Muturi, Esther Gichura, Florence Gathigi and Josphat Gachukia. Father-in-law of Naomi Njuguna, Jackson Githinji, Mwangi Gathuya, John Munya, Josphat Njuguna, Samuel Muturi, late Paul Gichura and Jacinta Gachukia.

Grandfather of Gathigi, Maryanne & Mercy Njuguni, Joyce & Kariuki Githinji; Neliah, Mark & Jeremy Mwangi; Maina & Njambi Munya; Carol Njuguna; Michelle, Shaniz, Brian & Angel Mucuri; Grace, Joy & Hope Gichura; Gathigi, Njuguna, Wambui & Maungu Wangari; Wambui & Wanjiku Gachukia.

The cortege leaves Coptic Hospital Mortuary Nairobi on Wednesday 20th May 2020 at 7.30am for burial at his home in Nyandarua County, Kipipiri location, Mahindu (Machinery).
