Peter Gitau Maingi
It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Peter Gitau Maingi of Nakuru – Mchangaa.
Son of the late Maingi Kagiri and Eunice Waithera Maingi. Husband of Grace Mumbi Gitau (Ministry of Lands – Nakuru). Father of Nelly Wanjiku Gitau (Technical University of Kenya), Eunice Waithera Gitau (Nation Media) and Sharon Wanjiru Gitau (Standard group). Brother of the late Mary Nditi Kimani, the late Nathaniel Kagiri, Capt James Kinuthia Maingi- KQ, the late Nancy Wanjiru and Mercy Wangui.
Son in law of the late Peter Karitie and Naomi Wanjiku Karitie of Maralal. Brother in Law of Naomi Kagiri (Nakuru), Lucy Maingi (Nairobi), Kamau Karitie (Smex), Sgt Edward Karitie among others. Grandfather of Gerald Gitau (GG), Troy Lengoiboni, Nathan Lengoiboni and Alden Lemuel Gitau. Uncle of David Maingi, lsaiya Maingi, Eunice Muoki, Melissa Maina among others. Cousin of Mary Ndetei Waruingi/Philip Waruingi among others. In-law of the Lengoiboni’s among others.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his residence at Mchangaa behind dominion Castle Nakuru at 5:00 pm for funeral arrangements.
The cortege leaves PNN mortuary, Nakuru on 05/03/2020 at 7:30am for Funeral and burial service at Kahuho (near PCEA church), Rumuruti.
