Peter Kamenwa Mungai gained his angel wings on Saturday 8th May 2021.

Son of the late Mungai Ndethi & Jane Wanjira, son in law to the late Lawrence Ngugi & Violet Nyambura. Husband to retired teacher and layreader Esther Wanjiru Kamenwa. Father to Jane (KIRDI) & Peter Muturi, Michael & Florick Mungai, Joyce Nyambura (NHIF Naivasha), John &Teresia Ngugi, NellieWanjiku, James & Eunice Kimani.

Brother of Nellie Wanjiku (Kiserian), Keziah Wamutitu (Eldoret), Mary Warimi (Ngorika) James Ngugi (Kangunjo), George SN Mungai (New York), Ann Kimani (Matasia). Grandfather to Eric (Qatar) Dennis & Sheila, Alex & Carol (USA), Ian, Esther & Tony, Lauryn, Sharon, Lannet, Eddie, Keith, Roy, Allen, Collins, Vivian, Jamin, Zemira, Davies and Darius. Great grandfather to Taji and Zena.

The cortege leaves St Teresa Mortuary, Kikuyu on Friday 14th May. 2021 at 9:00 am. Funeral service will be held at ACK Emmanuel Kibiku at 11:00 a.m. thereafter burial will take place at his home next to Kibiku Police Station near Wangige Market.
