Peter Kasili Kokonya

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing away of Peter Kasili Kokonya.
Peter was the beloved husband of the Late Elizabeth Mbete Kokonya Nee Kituku. Treasured father of Marina Nabututu, J. Blasio Kokonya & Vivian Nthambi. Doting grandfather of Eliza Mbete Kokonya. Son of the Late Joseph Blasio Kokonya and the Late Elizabeth Bukhula. Brother of: Mary Wasike, Leah Nakhumicha, the Late Dr. George Kokonya, Mathias Wakoli, Richard Lutukai, Flora Kokonya, the Late James Masinde, Martin Kokonya, Ferdinand Wakoli, Reginalda Khasoa, Alice Wambani, Duncan Misiko, Dennis Kokonya: Cleophas Misiko, Clement Miheso, Daniel Wakoli, Celestine Wakoli, Peter Walubengo, Romano Wachiye & the Late: Prof. Edward Kasili, Pius Mumiukha, Joseph Mumelo, Maurice Namiti & Alice Wamalwa among others. Brother-in-law of: Edward Wasike, Major Wafula, Maria, Bilha, Lilian, Rose & Lynette Kokonya: Mary Wakoli & Mary Namiti: Fred Wamunyokoli: Speranza Kasili, Rachel Mumelo, Anne Mumiukha,Anna Misiko & Dora Miheso. Papa & Uncle of: The Kokonya, Wasike, Namiti ,Wafula, Kasili, Mumiukha, Mumelo, Misiko, Wachiye & Nabangi families among others.
The cortege will depart from Chiromo Funeral Home on Tuesday April 28th, 2020 at 6.00 a.m. for the family home in Namilama, Bungoma County for the final rites and interment.
May the Lord rest his soul in eternal peace.
