1947 – 2017

The Wathutta family wishes to announce the death of Peter Martin Wathutta on 2 July 2017 following a short illness.

He was son of the late Rufus Kiroro Wanjohi and Hannah Wahiga Wanjohi. Foster Son of the late Mr and Mrs Stanley Kinga Mwendia. Son in-law to the late Jesse Kariuki and Jemimah Wariga. Husband of Irene Nyambura Wathutta. Father of James Kariuki, Rufus Mwangi and Anthony Wanjohi. Father in-law of Wangare Hassan and Comfort Kananu. Grandfather of AbdulMalik Wathutta, Abdalla Mwangi and Ray Wathutta. Brother, cousin, uncle and friend to many.

Daily Meetings are going on in town at Antonio’s Grill Restaurant and at his home in Choka off-Kangundo Rd. Burial will be on Tuesday 11th July 2017 at Langata Cemetery, Nairobi.
