Peter Maxwell Kamau Karega

We regret but in acceptance of God’s will, to announce the passing on of Peter Maxwell Kamau Karega which occurred on 29th June 2018.

Son of the late Samuel Karega and Penninah Muthoni. Beloved husband of Adah Muthoni Kamau. Devoted father of Anne Njeri Malaki, Edward Kamau, Alice Kamau (Chase Bank NB1), Francis Kamau and Mercy Kamau. Father-in-law of Peter Malaki and Njeri Gichuru Karega. Grandfather of Peter Kamau JR., Eric and Cynthia Thiong’o (USA), Brian, Mathew, Mitchelle, Megan, Thobela. Great grandfather of Melanie, Kenzo (USA) and Mitch. Brother of Ndung’u Karega, Wanjiku, the late Mhuru Karega, the late Njoki Karega, the late Njeri Karega. Ngahu Karega, Kihuyu Karega and Murimi Karega. Uncle of many.

Meeting are being held at Tumaini Meeting Chambers as from 2nd July 2018 to 4th July 2018 from 5:00pm and at his residence in Uhuru Estate Phase 4, to raise funds to defray funeral costs.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary at 8.00am on the 5th of July 2018 for a funeral service and burial at 10:00am at his farm in Ndeiya, Makutano, Kiambu County.
