Peter Muturia Nkunga

It is with a humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Peter Muturia Nkunga, who rested on 09/10/2022. Until his untimely demise, he was the Deputy County Commissioner – Mwea West Sub-county in Kirinyaga County.

Beloved husband to Peninnah Kavutha Muturia of National Gender and Equality Commission (NGEC). Father to Emmanuel Kirimi Muturia (Strathmore University), David Munene Muturia and Jesse Muriithi Muturia both of Mt. Laverna School – Nairobi.

Son to the late Johana M’ruchiaka Nkunga and the late Rebbeca Kaili Nkunga. Son-in-law to the late David Musyoka Kakunaa and Reginah K. David. Brother to the late Henry Limbiine, the late John Kaberia, Jack Kamencu, the late Julius Miriti, the late Isaiah Kobia, Patrick Mungathia, Sabina Kobia and Jerusha K. Michubu. He was an uncle and cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting in his rural home in Antuambui Location in Igembe North Sub-county and his Nairobi home in Kasarani.

The cortege leaves Montezzuma Monalissa Funeral Home (Thika), on Saturday 22/10/2022 to his rural home in Antuambui Location in Igembe North Sub-county, Meru County for the final send-off on the same day.
