It is with sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we regret to announce the passing on of Cllr Peterson Abuya Angwenyi which occurred on 14^th February 2017 at Oasis Hospital, Kisumu. Until his demise, he was the ODM chairman for Kitutu Chache North Constituency. Son of the late Sospeter Angwenyi Masagate and the late Mama Peninah Nyakwara of Marani Village, Igemo Sub location, Mwagichana Location, Marani Ward in Kitutu Chache North Sub County.

Loving husband of the late Carren Kwamboka and Florence Nyaboke. Father of Hellen (Kiamogiti Primary), Jared (Administration Police), Risper, Faith (TZ), Calvin, Dennis and Mercy. Brother of Sarange, Milka, the late Hellen, Jemimah (USA), the late Samuel, Isaac (USA) and Kennedy (USA). Uncle of Carren, Joyce, George, Ngara, Arasa, Paul, Marube, Robina, Mayaka, the late Daphine, Nyamorambo, Byron, Cynthia, David (USA), Jared, Edwin, Casper among others. Son in law of the late Nyakundi, late Borura, Truphena & Kerubo. Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his Marani Village Home and at Mwalimu International Hotel in Kisii Town. The main fundraiser will be on Tuesday 21^st February 2017 at his Marani home and at Mwalimu Hotel. The cortege leaves Hema Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 2^nd March for overnight vigil at his home ahead on Friday 3^rd March 2017.
