It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Petronella Orwako Opiyo of Egerton University which occurred on the 12th August, 2019 at the Nakuru War Memorial.
Beloved daughter of late Regina Atieno Opiyo and the late Michael Honga Opiyo. Doting mother of David Omondi. Sister of Lucy Adunda Opiyo, Patricia Odendo Opiyo, Austin Odendo Opiyo and Lawrence Ongud Opiyo.
The cortege will leave Egerton University funeral Home on Thursday 22nd August, 2019 for overnight stay at her residence in Miti Moja Kiamunyi.
There shall be a funeral service on 23rd August, 2019 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church Milimani at 9:00a.m. and thereafter, burial at her residence in Miti Moja, Kiamunyi, Nakuru County.
Revelation 21:4 – He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.
It’s with great sadness to know the loss of petronella orwako opiyo sister to lucy adunda opiyo larry, Austin and Patricia passed on last year 2019. As I knew her well when I stayed with my uncle Edward owino of Nakuru MTC may her soul and the souls who departed rest in peace and rise in glory amen especially after the anniversary while we deal with pandemic of Cov19.
