1954 to 2024

It is with humble acceptance that the family of Mzee Petrous Charles Olesampu announce his transition to glory on 30th April 2024 at Kikuyu Hospital.

Petrous was the first born of the late Mzee Charles Olesambu (Castro) and Mama Peninah Olesambu (Ng’oto Peter).

Husband of Catherine Chepande. Father of Paul Kann!, Roseline Nashupai, Jackline Naserian, Isabela Naitiris, Emmanuel Limo, Evelyne Naimutie, Sarah Nalotuesha and Francis Melep. Father-in-law of Catherine Kantai, Sammy Kamau, Charles Adundo, Josephine Limo, and George Wachira.

Brother of Pst Maria Lesoloiya, Joan Muoti, Rev. Bosco Sambu, Rosaiine Ayim, Josephine Djirackor, Esterina Nene, Emanuella Olesambu, and Sophia Olesambu.

Brother-in-law of the late Mzee Kimeto, the late Michael Lesoloiya, Barnabas Muoti. Faustine Lewarani, Jack Ayim, Francis Djirackor, and Stephen Macharia.

Grandfather of Adianca Namnyak, Nadia Naisiae, Cyril Timoi, Nicole Nempiris, Linda Njeri Kamau, Stanley Nduati, Joan Wangari, Sandro Loltisat, Elias Lemayan, John Wachira and Tiffany Nyawira.

Funeral planning meetings are being held at Parklands Baptist Church Westlands boardroom and at PBC Eastgate between 5.30pm and 7.30pm Daily (Monday – Friday).

There will be a fundraising to help offset hospital bills on 9th May 2024 from 4.00pm at Holy Family Basilica. Those who are unable to come for the fundraising can send their support to 0722688186 (Isabela Naitiris).

A celebratory memorial service will be held at the Parklands Baptist Church Eastgate on Tuesday I4th May 2024 between 10.30a.m – 12.30 pm.

Family and friends will escort Mzee Petrous to his final resting place in Sajiloni, Kajiado County, where he will be laid to rest on 15th May 2024.

We thank God for the precious time we have had with Mzee Petrous. He will remain in our hearts forever.
