It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Phares Odhiambo Kouko of Nyakach Agoro Pawtenge on 24th August 2017. Phares variously served at National Bank of Kenya, ICRAF, UNICEF-OLS, ICS among others in his working career.

Husband of Mary Akinyi Kouko (USA). Father of Cathy, Wilson and Charles Kouko. Grandfather of Zaire Burton. Father-in-law of Khalida Burton. Son of the late Wilson Ouko Kembe and late Wilkister Obat Nyar Lore. Brother of Barack Olando, Gilbert, Dorcas (deceased) and Washington, Javan and Zilpah Nyandat. Brother-in-law of Joyce, Mary jael, David Nyandat, the late Pamela, the late Jerry and Mary Kiwinda, late Charles and Christine Obinju, William and Nelly Oyamo, Boaz and Grace Odhiambo, Maurice and Grace Babu, the late Ezekiel, the late Steve, Dan Omondi, Paul and Pamela Oluoch, Gideon and Dorcas Otieno, William and Judith Sande and Susan. Friends and relatives meet in Kisumu at 5.30 pm at YWCA on Tuesday 5th and Thursday 7th and Public Service Club Wednesday 13th September 2017 and in Nairobi at Professional Centre, Saturday 9th September 2017 at 2 pm. The cortege leaves Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital on 15th September 2017 at 12 noon for Service at ACK Emmanuel Church, Pawtenge. Burial is on Saturday 16th September 2017 at his Pawtenge home.
