Pheris Wangeci Kariuki

It is with great sadness that the Kariuki family announce the passing of our beloved Pheris Wangeci Kariuki of Kenya Revenue Authority, which occurred at the Aga Khan University Hospital Nairobi on Friday 25th September, 2020 following a prolonged and bravely borne battle with cancer.

The loving wife of Davis Mwangi Kariuki, formerly of the Ministry of Information. Beloved daughter of Alice Muthoni Githu and Githu Kibunja. Daughter In law to Edith Wachu Mwangi and the late Davidson Mwangi. Selfless mother to Juliet Kariuil, Kibuka Mark, Stephen Kariulu, Hannah Muricho, Wachu Kariuki, Ken Kilungu, and Peace Kariuki. Grandmother to Kariuki Mwangi and Sheva Njeri.

She was Beloved sister to Ngarl Githu, Prisciliah Wanjiru, Mugure Githu and Evans Keya, the late Wachira Githu, Irungu Githu and Muchoki Githu. Caring auntie and friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting at the Kariuki’s residence in Membley Estate daily from 4.00 p.m. for prayers.

The cortege shall leave the Lee Funeral Home on Friday, 2nd October, 2020 at 7.00 a.m. for a funeral service and final rites at Kahiro farm, Kagio, Kirinyaga County.

Our Gallant soldier rests in the arms of her heavenly Father. No more pain. Forever loved. Till we meet by the beautiful shores.
