With deep sorrow, we accept God’s will and announce the death of Philip Makau King’oku which occurred on 5th May 2023.

Loving husband to Susan Ndulu and Philes Wanzilu.

Son to the late King’oku Ndee and the late Grace Muoti.

Father to Daniel Mutuku, Esther Mueni, Elizabeth Muthoki, the late Gideon Kathuli, Stephen Ndee (Knight Frank), Ruth Mutio (National Construction Authority), Shadrack Mulwa (Makueni County Government), Andrew Muema (Private Business Consultant), Dr. Catherine Mutindi (Nairobi City County Government), Abednego King’oku (Kiambu Institute of Science & Technology).

Grandfather to Purity, Caleb, Faith, Grace, Aaron, joy, Hope, Olive, Sharon, Joshua, Zuri, Lily & Lucas.

Father-in-law to Veronica Kamene, John Mutua, John Muia (Makueni Girls School), Harriet Tunje (Prowellness Counselling Center), Stephen Ndunda (KENGEN) and Benigna Makau (Makueni County Government).

Son-in-law to the late Kioko Waa &, the late Mwongeli Kioko, and the late Daniel Mathang’a & Naomi Mutheu.

Brother to the late Maati King’oku, the late Timothy Munyao, the late Isaack Muinde and Rita Kavoo.

Brother-n-law to the Kioko’s and Mathang’a’s. Uncle to the Maati’s, Munyao’s, Muinde’s and the Kavoo’s.

The cortege leaves Pamoja Makueni Funeral Home on Saturday 20th May 2023 at 7:30am followed by a funeral service that will be held at his Utini Nguu home from 10:00am.
