Philip Njiru Muthathai

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Philip Njiru Muthathai of NSSF Kiambu Branch, who died on 13th January 2019 through a tragic road accident.

He was beloved son to Peterson Kariuki Muthathai (Embu County Government) and Purity Warue Muthathai (Murue Agrovet). He leaves behind Anne Kananu Mwenda (Nairobi County Government) & Brenda Muthamia (UN). Loving Father of Payton Kariuki NOR), Payden Mwaki Njiru & Benjamin Abincha. Beloved Brother of PAlly Jim Muchiri Muthathai & Emmie Muchiri (Paem Nuts),Timothy Muchiri (Majestic Cars) & Patricia Muchin (UN) AND Pien-a Muthathai (Sidian Bank). Beloved Uncle of Vanessa Muchiri, Marcus Muchiri Jermaine Muchiri, Mitchell Muchiri among many others. Grandson of the late Paulo Muthathai & Dinah Mukarni Muthathai, the late Andrew Njiru Kathendu, Felista Njiru & Salome Wanjiku Njiru. Nephew, cousin & friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at All Saints Cathedral – Nairobi, Prime Hotel – Embu & Kibugu from 5.30pm

There will be a fundraiser at All saints Cathedral on Friday 18th January 2019 starting at 5.30pm.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Wednesday 23rd January 2019 at 6.00am, followed by funeral service at St Paul’s cathedral Embu and thereafter the burial ceremony at his home in Kibugu.
