Phillip Mugendi Kathii
It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing on of Phillip Mugendi Kathii of KenGen Ltd on 17th November, 2019 after a short illness.
Son of retired Bishop Henry and Susan Kathii of ACK Diocese, Embu. Brother of Daniel Kithinji Kathii (Texas, USA), Ruth Karimi Warui (Renaissance Capital), Sarah Shilau (Sadez Auto Paints). Brother-in-law of Ken Warui Mwangi (Axis Direct Insurance) and Uncle of Nicole, Sarnia, Siba and Derick.
Family and friends will meet at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi, from 20th November to 22nd November, 2019 at 5pm and at his parents’ residence in Kithegi Sub-location, Embu County from 3.00pm.
Cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Parlour in Embu on Tuesday 26th November, 2019 at 9.00am. Service will be held at ACK St. Edmund church Kithegi at 10.30am.

Bro. Am still in schock and still coming into terms that you are no more. Am schocked by the fact that we had alot unfinished.I ask God of the Strength….the way we stood by each other…., scenarios of what you went through keep by me. The passion you had in wanting to see me stable and working As you Rest. May God’s Love peace and eternal Life be your potion. Phillo, iwill not forget the jokes you made on us me like Kimundu,Kabrasa……it’s from my heart that you rest well with Angels we soon shall join you…..God is the giver and takes what is his. RIP Philo.
