It is with heavy hearts that ‘we announce the passing on of our beloved matriarch, Mrs. Philomena Mueni Mule on 26″ April, 2025 after bravely battling an ailment.
She was wife of the late Mr. Pius Mule, mother of Teresia Musembi, Mrs. Mary Muya, the late Mrs. Irene Abwoga, Mrs Stellamaris Kivuva, the late Catherine Wavinya, Hon. Stephen Mule of Matungulu), Mrs. Monica Mwendwa and Mr. Gabriel Mule.
She was mother-in-love of Mr. Michael Muya, Mr. Moses Abwoga, Mr. Hannington Kivuva, Mrs. Pauline Mutinda, Mr. Joseph Mwendwa and Mrs. Joyce Katua; in-law of Nzuki and Margaret, Mumbua, Katumbi, Mwelu, Nduku.
She was grandmother of Nzula, Brian & Tracy, Harrison and Fiona, Gibson, Tracy, Barbara & Gitau, Jeremy & Deanna, Brenda, Maureen, MarkPaul, Michelle, Vanessa, Brandon, Roy, Ethan, Claire, Justin, Andrew, Keith and Kelsi; great grandmother of Zani, Travis, Leila and Elisha, auntie of Cosmas, Mary, Erick & Karimi, Terry, Wanza, Emily ‘Charles, Ngina, Angela, Manguu, Stephen, Muema among others.
Meetings will continue to be held at All Saints Cathedral Tuesday 6th May, 2025 with a fundraiser on 7th May 2025 from 5:30pm.
A requiem mass will be held on Thursday 8th May, 2025, at shrine of Help of Christians — Don Bosco Upperhill from 2.00pm.
The burial ceremony/mass will be held on Saturday 10th May 2025 at Kwatombe Primary School followed by interment at her home in Kikaatini Village, Matungulu, Machakos County. The cortege will depart from Montezuma Funeral Home Nairobi at 6:30am.
