It is with humility and appreciation that we announce the demise of Phoebe Muga Olela of West Karachuonyo Division, Kanyipir Location, Got Komolo Village, Homa Bay County.
Daughter of John O. Olela, formerly of Caltex Oil (K) Ltd and Kerina Anyango Olela, of Quarry Road Market. Granddaughter of the late Johnson Olela and Priscila Olela, Christine, the late Pastor Solomon and Rodah Okoye, Kerina Agar and the late Shelia Agar, Turfena and Antonina Agar. Sister of Trizah, Winnie, Rodah, the late Barnabas, Elijah and Marrol.
Doting auntie of Stephanie Otondi, Michelle Abok and Jacob Otondi. Sister-in-law of Bob Otondi, Don Otondi, Audrey Otondi and Lawrence Woodard. Niece of Doreen, Abigael, Mildred, the late Phoebe, Esther, Alice, Eunice, Gilbert, Prof Krodah, Samuel Ochieng, Barnabas , Prof Omolo Ongati, Mathew Onyango, James Narkiso Omolo, Prof Odira, Paul Yason Ogoma, the late Sarah Makanyengo, Mical, Turfosa, the late Deborah Okelo, the late Samuel Ogoma.
Aunties are the late Mary, Caro Krodah, Anna, Roselynn, Olwen and Mercy among others. Cousin of Eric, Kathorina, Debra, Phoebe, Nancy, Lambi, David, Jacinta, Grace Otieno, Dr. Makanyengo, Patrick Lumumba, Joyce, Perez Amolo, Cycliff, Vincent, Priska, Kennedy, late Stela, Patroba, Violet, Isaac, Jael, the late Patroba, Jael,The late Flora Atieno among others .
Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers at her father’s house in Sunrise Estate, off Donholm Estate, House No. 625.

The body will arrive at Lee Funeral Home on 30th May 2019. Viewing will be at 9.00 am on the same day.
Church service will be held on 2nd June at SDA Central Church (Maxwell) from 12:00 noon.
Burial will be held at her father’s home on 4th June 2019 in Karachuonyo, Kanyipir Homabay District.
